The Drumheller Dragons will be looking to fill a big hole on the blue-line now that 18-year-old defenseman, Kent Anderson, has joined the Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League (USHL).
Anderson (Calgary, Alta.) spent the last two seasons with Drumheller, appearing in 66 regular season games, registering 29 points (6G, 23A).
Committed to the University of Denver (NCAA Div. 1) in 2022-23, the 6-foot-2, 201 pound (lbs.) defenseman features a keen hockey sense, especially in the defensive zone. His smooth skating stride gives him an ability to join the rush and contribute offensively.
The Green Bay Gamblers are 4-time Clark Cup Champions, and have had a proven track record of advancing players onto the NHL draft. Blake Wheeler, Jordan and Nick Schmaltz, and Casey Middlestat to name a few. When Anderson becomes eligible for the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, it will be no surprise to see his name called.
